Japanese Youths Prefer the NES to the PSP.

Apparently the surveyed market of Japanese youths prefers the classic NES to Sony's PSP. Whilst some of you may find this understandable, I still can't help but find it humorous, largely the fact that they still have working ones.

  • Sony PlayStation 1, 2 or 3: 37.4%

I do not believe that the title was necessary...EVERYONE pretty much knows this. Kinda like saying that people prefer the PS systems than the Xbox systems in Japan...see? Obvious. Now as you can see that there's a higher percentage for the Playstation consoles when compared to the Wii, they see that too?

Next time, they should try "Nintendo DS most popular for Japanese Youth"...the title obviously deviates from the main point of the poll.

Yes because of the release of the PSP Slim. Must I remind you that in overall sales it's the DS beating the PSP?

Plus this is talking about how Japanese Youths prefer the original Nintendo console over the PSP.

The PSP was bad and will continue to get worse as Nintendo are beating everyone in the Console War! I would have expected more from the N64 though, it only has .1% more than SNES!

It's only bad when clueless idiots like you, who don't even own one, keep bad mouthing it and other clueless idiots follow the same band wagon. The way you portray the PSP is pointless when you mention that Nintendo are "beating" everyone.

It's interesting to see that when these kind of articles keep pouring out, I see a bunch of "Ya see? THE PSP IS TEH SUXORZ, THE DS WINS!" Then you get an article about the PSP Slim selling like Hotcakes and there's comments like "Pssh, so? It's brand new, that's all"...*bleep*ing pathetic.

IN FACT, it wouldn't surprise me if they chose the SNES just for kicks.

Its pretty funny, the PSP came out just a few years ago, and the NES came out a decade and some years ago.

Hmm, I'm kinda surprised. I myself only have one game I enjoy for the PSP(GTA: VCS), but this is shocking.

Wow, that's so werid, I wouldn't expect something like that. Although it's quite funny, it shows that the old consoles never die out, completely. I still play my N64 from time to time, and I still enjoy it to this day.

I still don't see why it is that is all the PS home consoles together (three consoles), are put together when all the other ones seem to be alone, except for other that is.

I am actually a little surprised that the N64 is followed so close by its predecessor.

Those are really suprising answers, but I knew that most of them would like the Nintendo DS, I see a lot of Japenese people on wifi. Really taught me something about how the people like systems over on the other side.
