Solid Snake's Getting Some Attention (SSBB)

A slew (by which I mean four) of videos were released today on the daily updated Smash Bros. Dojo. We got confirmation of Shadow Moses Island, Snake's home-stage, which has an interesting effect..... Apparently, Snake will sometimes stop the battle in order to call a friend and ask them for the background of a character. In the videos show on the website, he calls Otacon, Mei Ling, and the Colonol.

We also got a movie showcasing Snake's fighting skills. It's got sleeper holds and Mario grabbing Snake's box, throwing it away in the process....Need I say more?

This stage recreates the structure in front of the helipad on Shadow Moses Island.

On this stage, Snake communicates with his team to learn the key characteristics of his rivals... Whoa... Seriously?

Oh, and occasionally a Metal Gear will appear from the background.

    Awesomeness...ok two things...

    1) Snake doesn't sound so cool on the Codec convos already. =/

    2) If that's Shadow Moses....what is Metal Gear Ray doing there?

    Because Liquid-Ocelot hijacked the manned Ray in SOL. So he takes it where he wants, lol. Or they didnt care too much for continuity.

    Snake didn't die. Supposedly, he dies in MGS4 (going by that trailer), but that was when he was much older.

    It's looking great so far, anyway. I love that conversation about Zero Suit Samus . I'm definitely planning to try out Snake. It's nice to see some real gameplay for once, as well. It seems like they added a few new things.

    Haha the conversations were great, especially the Samus one. Snake is definitely one of the characters who I will consider using when I finally get my hands on this game, he looks great.

    I like how the spotlight roams around the level "shocking" players when they are caught. Nice touch. The voice acting for Solid Snake sounds a little off key though.

    I love these videos, absolutely priceless. Can't wait to see the rest of the convos (assuming there are more) in the game.

    I laughed at this when I first saw it on ONM. The codec moment when talking about Mario is pretty amusing. I'm looking forward to play on this level now, it does look fun.

    I'm having second thoughts about these 'amusing' videos... will you be able to block them after you've seen them a bizillion times? Or would you have to keep watching them over and over and over again...
