Naughty Dogs president Evan Wells told playstation.blog that Uncharted is nearly done which should be very good news for people who could not wait since the original video was shown awhile back. This will also mean that the game won't be delayed, another up for PS3 fans that have seen a lot of delays. Even better, He made a comment saying that the game will run at 1080i and that there will be a demo.

Naughty Dog president Evan Wells says Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is just about done. Which is good news, partly because it's a promising PS3 game that's not being delayed, mostly because I was about the only person at TGS who didn't get to play it and get their rainbow-coloured, individual-toed socks blown off. The good news doesn't stop there: Wells also rolls up his sleeves, trawls through the comments on the post and decides that due to fan feedback they'd go ahead and implement 1080i support, where previously they'd only been gunning for 720p. Swell gesture!

Why? All the other Triple A titles are out already, what else do you have to wait for?

Damn how many PS3 actually run at 1080p? What was all the boasting for? Even some non-exclusive titles are 1080p on 360 but lower on PS3.

Well, multiplatform that was developed for the 360 first, tends to translate into poor ports to the PS3, unfortunately...They need to Develop for the PS3 FIRST...

Yeah, most games (thus far) don't support 1080p YET...Give it a year, and once more of the PS3's processing power is unlocked, they will have much less trouble allowing for the game to do that...see, you need more processing power to use 1080p versus even 1080i...Because of that, a lot of devs will have to sacrifice something else (graphics and/or rapid game action) to allow for it...But since much of the PS3's processing power has not yet been unlocked, they'll eventually be able to do both (high quality rendered graphics moving at rapid speed AND 1080p graphics)...

At least, I think that is what the problem is...

I think currently only Sega are making natively 1080p games. There might be a couple of other games that support it, but Sega is the only one to have it as standard I believe.

    Looking forward to the demo.
