Kane & Lynch 2 already in production

Eidos has announced today that Kane and Lynch already has a sequel on the way. Along with the announcement they also stated that they would be spending big dollars in marketing for the first title; Kane and Lynch: Dead Men.

“We believe it has the potential to be a franchise for adults that is respected and loved in the same way as Hitman,” stated Jane Cavanagh, CEO of Eidos. “The marketing spend reflects our confidence both in the title and the franchise, which has already been optioned for a Kane & Lynch movie by Lionsgate. "

"We’ve already got Kane & Lynch 2 in production, which just goes to show the belief we have in it as a long-term franchise.”

    A movie from a shooting game I thought Halo: the Movie was a joke but when i saw this it made me laugh, i don't think that this series is popular enough for a movie! Lol Just continue on with the games like you havn't announced anything yet...

      I saw some clips of the Halo movie on Youtube, and I must say it's rather impressive.

    And that has any meaning to the Kane and Lynch 2 article why? Who cares about the newcoming Halo movie... it's going to be crap anyways! It'll be to much action and not enough storyline!

    So has there been in movement forward for Kane and Lynch 2?

      Anyway they're really banking on this being a hit to have already started on the sequel.
