Apparently, Nintendo has sent out some PR to news site, confirming that games for SNK's NeoGeo console are set to appear on the NA Virtual Console Monday at Noon EST. The three games are Fatal Fury, World Heroes and Art of Fighting, with all of them going for 900 Wii Points per. Start saving up?

As always, there will be a NA Wii Virtual Console post both on GameGrep (as of last week) and the Wii NA Virtual Console Release thread.

NeoGeo Has Arrived
SNK hits Virtual Console this Monday. Launch games inside.

by Bozon

October 5, 2007 - Ever since SNK announced VC support months ago retro fans have been not-so-patiently waiting for the system's virtual debut. With such titles as King of Fighters, Fatal Fury, Metal Slug, and countless others, NeoGeo earned its place in history as the arcade-lover's console, charging outrageous prices for a perfect arcade experience at home. For nearly one-tenth the original price, however, you can now download those exact arcade-perfect games onto Virtual Console.

Starting next Monday, SNK will be available on Virtual Console at a much more affordable price than ever released. Kicking off the system's launch are three must-have titles for any fighting fan, as SNK has selected Fatal Fury, World Heroes, and Art of Fighting as its debut games. Each title will be hitting the Wii Shop Channel at the system's standard price of 900 points a pop; well worth ever penny in our opinions.

Per usual, we've included Nintendo's official game descriptions below. Start cashing in your pennies now kiddies; Wii points just became more valuable than Disney fun-money.

900 Wii Points for each? Eh, I think they should be a little less than that. NeoGeo did have some good games, but I'd rather get a N64 game for only 100 more Wii Points. It is still good to see another system being added to the VC though.

I have no clue what Wii Points are, but I can tell its expensive by Chads comment ^^ The sounds are really cool, but I do not like the Wii because it has no good games on it. I am not interested in getting this.

That's cool. But they've already released the only Neo Geo game anyone really wants, Metal Slug.
