First Ever Liquid Cooled Playstation 3!

ITANI | October 08, 2007 | News | Playstation 3 Misc
Behold before you the first liquid cooled Playstation 3. This method of cooling is usually used on gaming PC's if they overheat when users are playing various games on them. Although I don't know why it's being used on the Playstation 3 as they don't overheat at all. Probably only for people who get worried about their Playstation 3 overheating.
As we all know, heat is one of the biggest enemies of electronic components. Hopefully you haven't seen this temperature warning message. If you're worried about ps3 temperatures why not try liquid cooling?

It'd really be stupid if a guy was just putting it in an and he forgot to turn the power off and he got electrocuted.

But knowing humanity, it's likely to happen.

    I agree with Subzer0.

The PS3 gets hot, but nothing hardly ever happens to it.

liquid cooling isn't just for when it overheats. it is also used to make it so it can process faster. like with overclocking a computer.

Yeah, but liquid cooling makes overclocking possible. Unless he actually finds a way to overclock a ps3 processor there really isn't much of a point to this.

Would there even be a reason to overclock the PS3? It's not like you can adjust the video output....

How can the PS3 hardly ever overheat? The PS2 at my cousins house overheated all the time!

Also if you want to keep your PS2 not overheated then you just leave it for 20 mins and turn it of from the front and back!

PS3 =/= PS2 Just because a previous bit of hardware did something, it doesn't mean the follow up will do the same...
