Uh oh, Nintendos! (Sorry, for the pun) It looks like it could be a repeat of last year's Christmas disappointments for Nintendo's Wii. I wonder if the DS will be scarce to find as well?

The red-hot video-game company, whose stock has more than doubled this year on the runaway strength of the Wii game console, said it cannot keep up with demand and that U.S. consumers should expect shortages this holiday season.

Reggie Fils-Aime, the president of Nintendo of America, didn't give any precise reasons for the snafu, and George Harrison, the company's marketing chief, said Nintendo was making the Wii consoles as fast as it can.

Didn't we already know that Nintendo couldn't keep up with the demand?

Its amazing how many people are buying them up... Then again, I'm not really surprised. Interestingly it seems pretty darn easy to find a PS3... Once again, not a surprise. If the price wasn't so high I'd have one too. Heh...

What the hell, why can't Nintendo still keep up with the demand =s. It's amazing how much they're selling, it's almost a year and they're still expecting shortages xD.
