One of the megaton of announcements during Nintendo's Fall Press Conference was that Monster Hunter 3 was going to be on the Wii.

Nobody knew, however, that it was going to be Wii-exclusive.

Originally slated to be on the PS3, Nintendo has struck a deal and now Monster Hunter 3, part of a series that is vastly popular in Japan, is now exclusive to the Wii console.

Ouch for Sony, and I think Nintendo won Japan. Again.

Ouch, both Monster Hunter games for the PSP sold over a million copies each. This is a huge blow for the PS3.

Whoa. That's pretty crazy. The Wii should be getting even more respect if news lke this keeps coming. Funny... I've never had an interest in the series till now. Motion controls could make this a must-have for me, depending on how they're used. Poor Sony. Heh...

I've heard a lot about these games. But have never actually played. So apparently I'm missing out since people are saying this is a big deal. Anyway good for Nintendo. Bad for Sony they need to work on locking up their deals.

Freaking sweet. I played the original on the PS2 and loved it, so hopefully they will keep the game relatively the same.

Hopefully they will make use of WiFi. Monster Hunter games wouldn't be the same without the online.

    Wow, that's 3 disappointments in a row.

    1) Monster Hunter Freedom: No Infrastructure

    2) Monster Hunter Freedom 2: No Infrastructure Gameplay

    3) No PS3 Monster Hunter

What ever happened to "All future games to be multiplatform"??? Ok, I'm expecting PS3 DMC4 to be cancelled, just watch.
