Super Smash Bros. Brawl Delayed!

Super Smash Bros. Brawl has now been officially delayed by Nintendo to be released in January next year. This is in Japan of course. When will it arrive in the U.S & U.K is still TBC. Sonic has now also been confirmed to be in the SSBB roster. I guess Nintedo listened to all the cries on the Internet. Online coop has also been introduced, this should enhance gameplay and leave SSBB for a longer period of time in your Wii. Nintendo are still tight lipped about how this feature will work. Last but not least, Monster Hunter 3 has been announced for the Wii, yet the details about the game are thin.

First, and most disappointingly, is the news that Super Smash Bros Brawl has been delayed. Japanese gamers will see Mario and co bashing each other about in January next year, but who knows when it'll reach the UK? Hopefully March?

    The release date is still TBD, so there is no confirmation on that date. The official site says TBD for all countries. I still don't see why they would delay it until after Christmas, because if they wold have stuck with the primary release date, stores would make more money off the game seeing the release date was before Christmas. I was looking forward to this game for Christmas, so I definitely hope it's not delayed past then.

      Because they want it to be good. Money should be secondary concern for a big game like this. That'll come naturally. Good or bad game. But that won't win any repeat buyers.

      Better delayed then have a game with a lack of polish.

    Bull to the crap =[. Unless they have like some amazing new thing they're trying to create, like you know a flipping headest I don't know why they're delaying this game; dumb on their part they're just missing out on X-mas insanity.

    I hate to be the bad guy, but what the heck?

    Back on topic, the TBD for Brawl's release date really hurts. I hope I don't have to go through the logistics of moving preorders around.

      If the game never came out then I would maybe never buy a Wii.This is the game I'll probably buy a Wii for.

    Now this just makes me really sad... Galaxys coming out in January for Australia so i have to pick which one to pre-order...

    Well we knew it was going to happen sometime because almost every eagerly awaited and popular games/consoles will delay from a month to a year! ...

    Well if its delayed its for a good reason obviously , but i want to play that game , its worth buying a wii for if you ask me.
    Super Smash Bros Melee was the reason i bought the Gamecube oh and Metroid prime

    How dissapointing.... us SSB fans have been wating for over a year, and now they might delay the game because he wants to pull a Miyamoto making the game perfect which clearly impossible.
