At the Nintendo Media Summit in San Fransico CA. IGN got their hands on one of the most anticipated wii titles. They got to play Super Smash bros. Brawl. In the demo 14 fighters and 10 stages were playable. Although out of all the fighters they seemed to love Meta Knight the most. Meta Knight is capable of unleashing a fury of fast attacks, a controllable whirlwind, and can easily lead you to victories. The resently confirmed Sonic is a very fast character with alot of combos. For the control options you were only able to use the wiimote or classic controller. The wiimote seemed to be the best way to go in this game. Only in the demo form and this game is already addicting. There's no doubt that this game will be highly rated.

Without a doubt Smash Bros. Brawl is the most anticipated of the hardcore Nintendo titles hitting Wii thus far. We saw it unveiled at E3, we've watched and waited as daily updates hit the Smash Bros. Dojo, and now we're finally back from our first hands-on with the game. Our analysis: Brawl owns our soul.

Bozon's Impressions:
At the Nintendo Media Summit here in San Francisco, CA, Smash is easily the top playable title. Lines for Brawl are filling fast as titles such as Link's Crossbow Training and even Nintendo's Mario Galaxy are put on hold for at least enough time for a few quick rounds of good ol' fashioned Nintendo beatings. For the demo today Nintendo has put together a list of 14 fighters and ten levels. Fighters include Mario, DK, Link, Samus, Fox, Pikachu, Diddy, Pit, Meta Knight, Fire Emblem's Ike, Peach, Yoshi, Sonic, and Bowser. As for the battlefields, there's the "Smash Battlefield", Delfino Plaza from Super Mario Sunshine, TP's Bridge of Eldin, the Halberd from Kirby, Yoshi's Island, Norfair (Metroid), Lylat Cruise from Star Fox, Pokemon Stadium 2, and Sky World from Kid Icarus.

Wow! This sounds really good. So, Metaknight is a good character, huh? I never really thought much of him in the videos, but I may actually give him some thought and actually consider doing a few matches with him. It's good to hear Sonic is a decent fast player, which is what I look for =D

I like reading about articles when they play Hands-On! It makes it feel more "reviewed" so i know that when i play it, my feelings for it will be around the same...

The 100% controller button change is pretty cool. Especially with all the ways you could hold the Wii remote...
