MGS4 PS3 Bundle For Europe Confirmed

It has been confirmed by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe that there will be a special PS3 bundle released before Easter, which will include Metal Gear Solid 4 as well as the new Dual Shock controller! It makes sense to make such a bundle since MGS4 will undoubtedly greatly increase PS3 sales. I feel glad I'm a European for once.

According to PS-Gamer.com, it seems Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will be arriving in Europe before Easter, and even better, Sony and Konami are planning a "console-and-game" bundle, too! Yeah, this is the kind of thing the whole world wants, Sony, so while we're happy for our friends across the pond, don't you dare limit this bundle to one territory! In speaking to Spanish website MeriStation.com, SCEE vice-president James Armstrong apparently confirmed it:

“We are working on a PlayStation 3 bundle that includes Metal Gear 4 Solid and the new DualShock. We want it to hit the high street before Easter. That’s what we’re pushing for at the moment.”

    A PlayStation 3, Metal Gear Solid 4 and the rumble enabled DualShock 3? This is the bundle I buy. Let's just hope that the console doesn't come exclusively in a 0.5GB version or something similarly ridiculous like that.

      It's MGS4 though.

      I'd buy this is if it comes to U.S though. As currently it's the only reason I would want a PS3.

      At least it would have a floppy disk drive included, that would be a bargain and help increase memory by a lot!

    Wow, that's not too far off at all. I don't have a PS3 so I'll have to steal my mates for a while or something. This is really the only reason to get a PS3 at the moment.
