T3 have awarded the Playstation 3 the Gadget of the Year award. With so many features that the Playstation 3 is capable of, T3 had no choice but to award it to Sony's own gaming console. The runners up was Sky High Definition, Apple iPhone & more!

So, how come..." you're asking, "...this is Gadget O' The Year, when it's merely a runner-up in the Gaming category?" We say this: the PS3 doesn't so much move the goalposts for gadgets as hack them down and use them to build a very small shed with. In that shed is kept multimedia functionality the Xbox 360 can only dream of: one of the best Blu-Ray players to date, brilliant synergy with the PSP, and, just over the horizon, a stream of top add-ons, such as the TV tuner.

You will be surprised, Reenee, to find that a lot of things are judged on their potential rather than current abilities.

LOL, nice way to look like an idiot. If anything is a PC wannabe it's the 360...they're made from the same *bleep*ing company that has the most popular OS in PC's...nice observation skills.

Actually the 360 OS is quite a ways off from being the bloatware that XP / Vista is. If you wanna talk bloated operating systems on consoles look no further than the PS3 right now.

You could say the same about the PS3 and Linux and using OpenGL and the same about the Wii running Opera.

Or you could say that about all of them using PC hardware in them, ATI/AMD, NVIDIA and IBM. You do realize that all 3 of them trace back to some relation with IBM right? ATI didn't start out making gamecube systems. NVIDIA didn't suddenly start making cards when the Xbox and PS3 arrived.

If you're going to try and flame someone, try to not look like a total moron in the process. Research is your friend.
