Kotaku will now be suing EA for imitating them with their website Moetaku to promote their upcoming The Simpsons Game. The only thing that is different between both of them is the names. EA thought it would be funny if it imitated the Kotaku website and now Kotaku is taking action by suing EA.

Looks like someone at the EA marketing department thought they'd have a laugh and swipe the hard work of Gawker Media's crack design team. Sorry, EA, but we have a patent (pending) on viciously nauseating color schemes. You'll be hearing from our lawyers. We're obviously willing to settle for nine complimentary copies of The Simpsons Game, including one for the Kotaku archives, but might play hardball for a tenth.

Overly sensitive ass people, man. The Simpsons game has spoofs of a handful of existing properties. So what? They're really gonna sue them? Thats corny as hell.

Kotaku is so bitchy. Oh noez, they have a website similar to yours to promote a game!

ITANI, re-read the article. They aren't actually suing EA. Just the opposite, they're flattered.

"And by smoldering with generic rage, I mean giddy and thrilled that someone at EA added us to The Simpsons Game parody target list."

What? no one said EA was suing Kotaku. Why would EA sue Kotaku when EA was the one who 'copied' Kotaku's site design? It was Kotaku who would of been suing EA. However, if people would read the Kotaku article more closely they would notice that Kotaku wasn't serious when they said that. They're actually excited that EA would put them on the list of companies to make a parody out of.
