EyeCreate: Officially Released on the PLAYSTATION Store

If you where one of the lucky ones to get the game Eye Of Judgement, then you were lucky enough to get a free PlaystationEye with it. And why not put that PlaystationEye to good use. Head over to the Playstation Store and download the EyeCreate, a photo and video editing feature for your PlaystationEye.

If you were one of the lucky ones to get The Eye of Judgment today at your local game store and you are looking for something a little extra, then head over to the PLAYSTATION Store.

Why?

The new and free EyeCreate software was just released, allowing you to make movies and do silly things with your newly aquired PLAYSTATION Eye.

The file is only 9051KB, so why not give it a try, right? So give it a whirl, and show us your videos.

    I'll wait for the camera to be released separately. The Eye of Judgement does not appeal me at all... Anyways, EyeCreate sounds interesting.

      I don't get it. You can make videos and do silly stuff on eye toy 1 and 2. Weird. Just another way for them to make money.

    Its free, and its like a photo and video editing feature. Wich you can't do in the first eyetoy. I tried this with the first eyetoy and sadly enough it doesn't work unless you have a EYE

    Kool, free software.

    The PlaystationEye deserves a good review. It seems like one of the accessories that you'd borrow from a friend and he'd never want back, and you'd lose it.

    I got the Eye of Judgment game, and only got to play it today (got my PS3 back from repair today)

    Yeah, the eyeCreate software is pretty cool You can capture pics, video (with audio), and audio. I haven't tried editing a video, but photo/video effects are cool

    Image quality is alright, I didn't have the previous Eyetoy, so I can't make comparisons. Image is a bit grainy. It adjusts to darker areas quickly enough though (a listed feature). Image is rather smooth too (60FPS)

    Audio is rather good actually, naturally, your voice sounds different, but thats to be expected, but it is fairly clear, I am hearing impaired, but I can hear it fairly well. It is unidirectional, but still works all around

    NOTE: Minor issues with at least one of the effects (One of the 'trails' effects), it causes the image to split in two (top and bottom halves) sometimes, each half works, but the effects you're are currently using, process a bit differently on both halves, which cause a visible difference between each half
