King Dedede makes it into Brawl!

Today we get a very exciting update....It seems that all of the Kirby characters have made it into Brawl! Kirby, alongside the already confrimed Metaknight, is joined by his long-time recurring rival, King Dedede!

Personally, I'm excited. He delivers powerful blows with his hammer, and is apparently a heavy-weight style character like DK and Bowser.

The self-proclaimed king of Dream Land formally joins the brawl! Mechanizing his wooden mallet, he delivers a mighty, earth-shaking blow!

He joins as a member of the heavyweight class alongside Bowser and Donkey Kong. Can he defeat Kirby?!

    Well if he can make it in the game, then hopefully others like Ridley from Metroid can make it in too or other hunters from MPH

    Wow, I didn't see this coming! I still would have preferred someone from Fire Emblem though. Like any of the Pegasi riders. I wonder if heavy type characters are popular in Smash? Most high-level players usually go for the faster guys (i.e. Fox, Falco).

    Somehow, I knew they were going to throw another curveball at us. Nice to see King Dedede in Brawl! Hope we can see Ridley, or another Metroid character.

    I'm surprised it's taken as long as it has for more Kirby characters to wing their way into the Brawl.

    Still, more characters is always a plus.

    Yay. Now I can hit people with a hammer without having to pick one up. Besides G&W, but he doesn't really count.

    Surely, if this thing can make it, Jigglypuff can.. hm, doubt I'll play as this one, doesn't really interest me too much and not a very good update.

      Soul Calibur II came and went in regard to MS throwing in their franchise fav for a video game title. I doubt Nintendo would shell out cash to promote someone elses property that they stand no chance to cash in on.

    Yay for Nintendo adding more "lesser-known" characters into Brawl.
    Here's hoping his Jump attacks are as dangerous as they are in the Kirby games ( that bloody attack has killed me so many times back in the day >_> )

    I'm really excited to see King Dedede in it and now I think I know why they pushed the release date to February so far they added 2 new characters since then and it wasn't that long ago that they pushed it back.

      I doubt they delayed the game for a character. They just delayed it for more polishing.

      Nonetheless. Great to see Dedede in the Brawl. He's welcome to all the SSB fans.

      He seems like a pretty good character. I might use him in times.

    I'm not really excited about this dude being in the game. I never liked him to begin with XD

    I just want them to confirm that Sheik in in Brawl ;__;

    I like how so many Kirby characters are being added in this game. Melee really missed that... Still a nice update even though I don't really know who he is.
