Krystal from Starfox - To appear in Brawl?

Yet another Brawl rumour has been floating around the 'net lately. This time, fans have noticed that voice-actor Alesia Glidewell's official site not only lists Knuckle Joe and Zero Suit Samus as her voice roles in SSBB, but also lists Krystal from Starfox as a character that she will be voicing in the game.

A handful of tipsters have written in today to let us know about a potential look at one unannounced character who may be appearing in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii. Accomplished voice actress Alesia Glidewell, who will perform Zero Suit Samus' speaking parts—which I can assume amount to brief proclamations of victory and simple catchphrases—also lists Krystal from Star Fox and Knuckle Joe from the Kirby series in her online resume.

Knuckle Joe has already been confirmed as an Assist Trophy by the Smash Bros. Dojo, but no mention of Krystal has been publicly revealed so far. Given Krystal's relatively low profile as an identifiable character, I'm just guessing that she'll either appear as an Assist Trophy or in certain cutscenes during the game's single player mode. However, if you'd told me that King Dedede was also hinted at, I'd have told the same thing, right after saying "Sorry, who?"

Regardless of Krystal's impact on the line-up, expect a slight increase in furry fan art. And avoid Google Image searches.

    It's very possible. The Star Fox series only has Fox confirmed so far, and if she's voice acting Krystal along with Knuckle Joe and Zero Suit Samus, then it's a real good chance.

    Krystal wouldn't be my first choice as a Brawl character or even Assist Trophy to be honest, but then again I'm not the one who gets to decide these things.

    Seriously folks, what we really need is more Metroid stuff. Like, say, Ridley!

      Agreed, though I wouldnt mind more charcters, the more the better. Ya know Megaman was on the NES, so maybe he can be in brawl, I dont see why not, I mean freaking Snake is there.

    The more, the merrier, in my opinion.


    If she is as playable as the other characters and is unique enough to not be just like Fox and still maintain her role in the Star Fox story, I say add her.

    I say they'll put her in the game instead of Falco, since he's just a Fox with a better, yet slower blaster. They'll of course give her a new set of threads though.

    Alright, I just want to say something.

    You all have no idea whetrher or not Krystal will be in Brawl.

    This proves that Alesia Glidewell made voices for Krystal to potentially be in Brawl, and nothing more. This voice may get scrapped.

    Further, if it does not get scrapped, then it could still mean a variety of things. Assist Trophy, background character, cut scenes, anything. It does not necessarily mean character.

      Althrought, I wouldn't be surprised. She has a big fanbase and has decent moves from her games.

      Plus, I always wanted her in.

    remember the starfox levels in brawl were pretty active. slippy, and that other dude would come on the screen if you got that long ass taunt off as fox.

    It sounds weird in the games she just uses guns and you hardly got too play as her so she wouldnt have hardly any attacks

      The beginning of Starfox Adventures saw her using a STAFF. That's right, not a gun.

      And since when was an existing moveset a prerequsite for an SSB character? Oops, looks like we can scratch Captain Falcon, Dr Mario, Fox, Falco, etc.

    Dude, remember Captain Falcon? That guy was in a goddamn car in all of his games. What attacks does he have? Falcon Punch, Raptor Burst and he's the fastest guy in the game.

    Or what about Dr. Mario? That guy throws *bleep*ing medicine at people. You'd think he'd actually HEAL them rather than hurt them.

      Don't forget Fox dude. He was mainly all the time in his Arwing. Also, Ice Climbers just climb a mountain.

    I hope Krystal is an actual player so as to make this game much more betteretteretterer! =D

    They need more Fox characters and some more from Metal GEar Solid! =D

    Crystal seems like a likely choice for a playable character to me even though I haven't played her games, but I doubt we'd be getting any more Metal Gear Solid characters there is a limited number of 3rd party slots so

    YES PLEASE! I really liked Crystals character in Starfox Adventures. I wonder what type of character she'd be to play as, I mean.. I hope she's speed, then I'm definetely using her.
