The first next gen Burnout game to hit the Playstation 3 and the 360 has finally seen a release date. The game will be coming out on January 22, 2008 in North America. There will also be demos for the game in December.

Electronic Arts announced Friday that Burnout Paradise will be in stores January 22, 2008 in North America. In addition, demos for the both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version will be available in December.

Developed by EA Criterion, Burnout Paradise looks to redefine the open world experience with Paradise City, a newly designed playground filled with the most exciting jumps, gripping races and unrivalled excitement at every intersection. Players will have total freedom to explore and discover the world at their leisure, just pull up to any stoplight and spin your wheels to enter five high speed action challenges. Slam, shunt and wreck rivals in these cross-town driving challenges, where players decide the fastest route to the finish line.

    Can't wait for some reviews, looks good.

    2008 looks promising, especially with another continuation of Burnout on the schedule. EA appears to be getting back in on some action.

    I didn't think this was coming out so early in the new year. Burnout is one of the only games from EA I can expect consistency in.

      EA's pushed back so many titles that they have to release something. Why not Criterion's trademark?

    BURNOUT FOR PS3?! O: I am so behind .. I love the Burnout games. Well, I'll get this eventually
