So, the Wii gets Spore, something I am glad to hear as a self aware fanboy, but apparently Wright is acting like one too. I don't mind what he is saying about the other consoles since it is his opinion, but does he realise how much flaming this whole 'the Wii is not a / is the only next gen console' causes? It is just nonsense at this point in my opinion.
In the interview with The Guardian newspaper, Wright confirmed, Were doing Spore on Wii, ending much speculation on whether the much-anticipated title would be appearing on Nintendos latest box of tricks.

edit. Of course I know how big a blue ray disc is. Granted I did word that weird... I meant it as Blu-ray or nothing. Last I checked Wii wasn't blu-ray so I wouldn't think it'd fit.
What's with all the hate?
Wait, I just thought of something, the person who gave you a thumbs down could be using a Wiimote very badly on the net. After all even with the eventually out standing accuracy it can be hard to work at first.
I'll buy it. I don't care if it's released for other systems, nor do I care if it's on more than 1 disc. You would think that making Bluray so exclusive would at least make it's capacity larger?
BTW: Creature data is only supposed to take up about what? 1KB? I doubt worlds take up a LOT of data (probably several megs a world though), so I can EASILY see it fitting on a DVD9, let alone a Blu-Ray disk. Most of the planets in the galaxy or whatever, will likely be made from other players.
It is a good thing though, that the character designs only take about 1KB...otherwise, it would cause a lot of data transmission errors, and much of the game wouldn't be possible...
I want it on the PS3, as I said...
pollinatebe released on as many consoles as it can.iLLmatic made the best point; what did you think the PC version was going to be downloaded from?
As always, if you listen very hard at night, you will hear the maniacal cackles of the Sonic Flash in celebration.
