California State Sen. Leland Yee (D), architect of his state’s contested video game law, has issued a press release urging parents to boycott Manhunt 2.

It's nice to see that, rather than banning it from retail, he asks parents not to purchase the game for children. That is reasonable. Banning the game entirely is not.

I watched a 5 min video where they discussed it on cnn. The worst thing they said was it's not for the squeamish the rest of the chatter was explaining how violent the game is but relating that there is no evidence to support that they(video games) make people more violent.

It's nice to see that they aren't just bashing the game.

But he's issuing this towards parents so it really shouldn't be taken as an attack. At least not a direct one.
