PS3 / PSP Remote Start Confirmed with 3.72 Update

News has come out from UK.Playstation.com that the new PSP system software version 3.72 allows you to power on your Playstation 3 gaming system under [Remote Play].

"Pretty neat feature if you’re constantly on the road, now you can access media / files wherever you have a wi-fi access point!"

Whoa, this is great news. I never thought there was much point to Remote Play before where you couldn't access your PS3 from wherever you wanted to. I'll definitely use this feature a lot when I get a PS3.

They spoke about this a long time back, during the E3 of the same year PS3 was released. Nice to see it finally available. This is a really cool feature. Does this also include access to the PS3 hard drive through the PSP? I didn't see it in the article.
