PS3 Firmware 2.0 on the way

PlayStation 3 Firmware 2.0 is definitely on the way. The recent PSP firmware update suggests that the update in close to release, though the exact release date is now know. Sony has not mentioned any specifics regarding the update.

    I wouldn't really call this news though. And we heard about it on the forums here first.

    I still expect it to be out around the 1 year anniversary of it's NA release, but of course, I'd like it sooner

    We know about 2.0
    what we don't know is what's in it and when it's out.

      Though this is concrete proof it is out soon with the newly released PSP update adding features that can only be used with a PS3 with firmware 2.0 installed, this means the update is very close if not immenant.
