Manhunt 2 hacked to reveal "deleted" scenes within 24 hours of release on PSP

cjmnews | November 01, 2007 | News | Playstation Portable
As you know, Manhunt 2 was altered to disable the violent scenes in order to get an M rating from the ESRB. The scenes apparently are still in the game, just disabled, and due to the flexible nature of the PSP, they are now available in their full violent glory. Will the ESRB go after Rockstar for retaining the scenes? Will the game get re-labled as AO? Get your copy fast.
Hackers have already tampered with the code of Rockstar's Manhunt 2 to reinstate the violent scenes and images thought to have been removed from the game.

The PSP version of the controversial title has been exploited less than 24 hours since the game was officially released in North America.

Kinda like Hot Coffee. It'll get banned for a few weeks, tweaked, then re-released.

Meh, I'm not worried, I'll be getting my PSP version tomorrow...though I do wish I could have the fully fleshed out execution cinematics...the screen distortion is a killer for me.
