17 year old teenager Ryder admitted in court on Friday that he wanted to hire a hit man to kill both his parents for confiscating his Playstation.

Ryder told one of his mother's friends how angry he was and what he was going to do next, which was he wanted his parents dead, this led the woman to contact the police and inform them about what Ryder decided to do next. Ryder was then informed that a hit man is waiting for him at a hotel, that's where Ryder offered his father's pick up truck in exchange for the killing. Ryder said "Two bullets is all it takes". So Ryder was serious about taking out his parents once and for all. Although the hit man that was waiting for Ryder was an undercover officer.

Ryder told authorities that he wanted his parents dead because they grounded him for weeks not allowing him to watch television nor play Playstation and kicked him out of the house.

Ryder has history of bad and inappropriate behaviour of where he smashed a fire extinguisher and broke into a local fairground.

Soon after Ryder was sent on probation he discontinued school and stole his sister's piggy bank which contained $45.

In Leonardtown, Maryland, a 17-year-old boy admitted in court Friday to trying to hire a hit man to kill his parents after he reportedly became angry at them for confiscating his PlayStation.

Wow, in order to not be dumbfounded by the sheer, umm 'lack of words for'-ness, I have to max out my Nintendo fanboyism and ask Sony if they are happy.

Exactly my point, what the hell is up with that guy? That just seems so incomprehensible.

No finalblade, I mean that doing that makes roughly the same amount of sense.

He was actually referring to your post, it clearly makes no sense.
This isn't Sony's fault so how could you possible blame them for this. This guy is a ranging lunatic, another case of mental instability, People like this should not get there hand on video games.

Not already stupid kids. Besides, a 17 year old should have been taught that by the time he was *bleep*ing 8 years old.

Yeah, but his parents kicked him out of the house. That's sorta uncool too... It's one thing to ground him from TV and Playstation and shit. But to kick him out is pretty harsh.

When you want to kill someone...you don't tell the friend...OF THE PERSON YOU'RE GOING TO KILL...that *bleep*. This is why I hate the Juvenile Justice system, the kid attempted to murder his parents and even with his nice little record, the prick gets probation...which is another way of saying he goes free.

    HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

It says he wanted to hire a hitman, not that he actually did.

    Bale Fire* Nov 6, 07
How did the kid get in contact with a supposed hitman anyway? I mean even if the man was a undercover cop how do you go about looking for a hitman?

    Final Blade Nov 6, 07
Well still i can't say this article is true, considering i haven't seen a website with that low of bandwidth, besides since i can't even read the full article kinda makes you wonder.

Still the way this kid went in going with this really must be stupid, its like telling the cops personally im going to rob the bank at 2:00 pm, why in gods name would even announce it, does this kid really want to get in trouble. Well I agree with Seeker X on this he should at least get 2 years in prison.

Here is an alternative source to the article. Although the article is quite different from the other site that I originally linked to. Which is pretty surprising.

Here we go...another shallow idiotic kid who has no idea of anything and proves that people are getting stupid (not all but face it, you see more idiots than intelligent people these days).

I'm with the mum on this, charge him as an adult. Murder is not something to kid around with, not in the way he went about it. I think it's pretty sad for the bloody kid to also be writing letters saying "I love you mum!" and all that, since obviously he just wants to get out of it. *bleep*ing lil prick, I hope he gets a few years and learns some things in prison.

    Jay_Z Nov 8, 07
Wow. That kid has some serious mental issues. His parents banning him from watching TV is a little extreme though, IMO. He should really be charged as an adult - if somebody is crazy enough to want to kill their own parents, they deserve no sympathy.

      iLLmatic Nov 8, 07
LOL did you really say banning him from watching Tv is a little extreme? Do you really believe that? Honestly?
      • 0
        Jay_Z Nov 8, 07
Before he tried to hire a hitman to kill his parents, yes, I reckon banning him from watching TV is a little extreme.
