Analyst Said It All: The Wii Will Beat The PS3 In Guitar Hero III Sales.

This news called my attention, hence the fact the fact that this will be Nintendo's first Guitar Hero game.

According to the analyst, this will happen because the people prefer inovation over similarity.

Guitar Hero III is already a huge success, having sold over $100 million of product on Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, and PS2 during its first week of release. Sales probably won't be too shabby when it releases on PC and Mac next either, either.

According to Jesse Divnich, analyst for The simExchange, the Nintendo Wii version is predicted to outsell the PlayStation 3 version by a two-to-one margin when all is said and done.

"The prediction market’s expectations imply that Wii consumers prefer originality over conformity, innovation over similarity, and more importantly, titles that are just simply fun to play," he recently opined.

    Iam getting sick of "Analyst say PS3 will be #1" "Analyst say the Wii sales will drop" "Analyst say your testicles will grow smaller if you drink coke and play the 360" its getting annoying, its only speculation, nothing more.

      The analysts have been wrong about everything regarding the Wii. It's convenient that they never have to come out and admit that they're totally off base.

    wii beat all of us to 100m in top scores too. 360 currently outranks by 6M points but the wii ran strong for the first week at 102M.

    yeah, a cannot wait to try it on my wii, at the moment, im playing GH2 at a friends on the 360 and wanting to get on with playing it on my wii, not long to go now, only a few more weeks

    Newsflash: The wii hardware sales are impressive but the game sales are not. Need better game sales.

    the Wii and 360 will most likely sell the most. I mean that is like saying more people like coke then pepsi but saying pepsi will sell more. More people have Wiis and 360s so it will sell the most on them. So he's right but not for his reasons.
