This week's PlayStation Network Store update has finally gone live. The US have had a nice big update, but Europe only managed to get a few new things in their store. Two new demos are available to download from the US PSN Store and one new demo from the Euro PSN Store. Visit the source for a full list on what's new.

The US have recieved two new demos, the main one being Uncharted, and three new add-on packs for various games. In addition, there are several new game videos, movie trailers and some new wallpaper. As for Europe - the update wasn't that big (no suprise there). There is one new playable demo, and a few new game add-on packs. There is also a new PSOne title and Tekken 5: DR Online is finally available to download.

    Edit.

People seem to be totally misunderstanding what I've said here, so I'll try and make it totally clear.

    • SONY have given PAL the short end of the stick again.
    • We get less in the store, and we get much less variety of hardware choice.
    • Until SONY have some parity between the two regions I personally won't be buying a PS3.
    • I never said the PS3 was a weak console. In fact I said in terms of power it was the strongest.

Now I'm getting thumbs down because people have misunderstood me

So you won't buy a PS3 purely because the Store is not as good as it is in America?!
That's pretty shallow dude. There's plenty more to the PS3 then the Store.

I don't see why I should pay more for an inferior product.

Which is a shame seeing as it is technically the most powerful of all consoles.
So now it is an inferior product because there isn't as much content in the PSN store as you would like?

The UK versions are inferior to the US and Japanese versions.

We don't get as much variation when picking model, and our 60Gb is weaker.

lol for not buying a console because of what the store offers.

Just create an American account and that is all sorted.

Did you read my first comment. I didn't say I wouldn't buy a PS3 just because of the store. I said Sony have shafted PAL regions again.

And how, exactly, have they done it before.

I don't mind the store. I live in Australia and I assume we get less even than Europe. I find no shortage of items in the store and probably wouldn't have time to get them even if there were more.

And you can always make a second account if it bothers you that much. Sony hardly discourage it

Or you could just set up a US account and get it all. Not a hard process really.

Like I've said before, it's not just the PS store.
Sony have released less variety in hardware here than in the US.
