Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time

Ah, isn't gaming love beautiful? XBox Live user Moviesign seemed to think so, when he created a custom-map in the Halo 3 map editor Forge, spelled out the words "Marry Me?" in weapons, then led his girlfriend of two years to the location. Aww, what a romantic gesture ... I think.
On November 3, 2007 Moviesign made a Forge map in Halo® 3, and set up what his girlfriend of over two years (furtive penguin) thought was going to be a two-on-two match with his friends. They started the game and Moviesign led furtive penguin to a spot where he claimed he'd put an energy sword.
Instead there was a nice top-down view where he had spelled out a proposal in weapons. He then asked her to be his teammate for life.
Furtive penguin and Moviesign recently moved from Indianapolis to Chicago where she (penguin) is a copyeditor and he (Movie) is a graphic designer. They haven't set a wedding date yet. As furtive penguin said, "We're waiting to see what the release date is for the next Halo game. We don't want any conflicts."
Congratulations to furtive penguin and Moviesign from the entire Xbox community!

The fact that it's in an FPS is worse.
And it's Halo 3.
"Daddy, how did you propose to Mommy ?"
"Well, sonm it all started with Bungie's Forge system ..."
Is the wedding going to be online too? Is he going to make a custom map for their honeymoon?
This reminds of the even more stupid Zezima wedding in Runescape. Type it in on Youtube if your interested
It was obviously just 2 guys pissing around.
And I don't think most of you understand that BOTH are obviously big fans of Halo, otherwise the girl would have been real irritated, I'd think....
And yeah, from what I can tell from the article, they are a couple in real life...
I think this is nice, he creatively (sorta) used something they BOTH like, to make a marriage proposal...Like, if someone really likes cake, you could say "Try a sample of this cake" and have "Will you Marry Me" on it...
Or two sports fans go to a ball-park, and the screen displays "Will you marry me?" on it...corny, and somewhat unoriginal, but eh.
The point is, they both liked the game >_>
Eh, I'd probably never do this, unless my future partner really liked a certain game >_> I'd be like "Honey, I found something in 'The Game' that You won't believe! It is a super secret easter egg or something"....if she/he liked the game as much as I thought, she/he would come running, only to see a "Will you Marry Me?" thing on the screen, and I'd probably drop on my knees and propose or something, in real life...
