Soilder of fortune has been given an offical release date. It will be released on the 360 and PC on November the 13th, but PS3 gamers will have to wait until the 20th for their copy. Medal of honor has been given a PS3 release date of the 21st of November.

The first-person shooter genre has been nothing if not well represented this year. Today, release dates were confirmed for two more entries in the genre to hit retail shelves before the year runs its course.

Activision has announced Soldier of Fortune: Payback has gone gold and will arrive on the Xbox 360 and PC on November 13, with the PlayStation 3 version following a week later on November 20. Also trailing its Xbox 360 and PC counterparts, EA's Medal of Honor: Airborne has wrapped development and is slated to arrive on the PS3 on November 21.
