Unreal Tournament 3 Has Gone Gold!

Mark Rein has announced on the official Unreal Tournament 3 forum of Epic Games that the game has finally gone gold!
The games is planned to ship to the US at the 19th and to Europe at the 22nd!
Though the dates for the PS3 is still unknown.

Midway and Epic today announced that Unreal Tournament 3 has gone to gold master for the PC. Developed by the team behind the critically acclaimed video game Gears of War, Unreal Tournament 3 is currently scheduled to ship in North America on November 19th for the PC with a suggested retail price of $49.95 and $59.95 for the collector’s edition. The PlayStation®3 version will follow soon. Unreal Tournament fans can get a taste of the compelling first person shooter by checking out the single-player trailer, or downloading the beta demo.

    I wonder what the Collector's Edition contains?

    Probably the usual "making of vids", and maybe some bonus mini-book, as it seems to be the trend these days...

    If the PC's version is gold then that should mean the PS3 should hopefulley take about 1-2 months... *fingers crossed*

    They said the PS3 version is done. They just have to do some clean up. Hopefully it will be out before the end of the year. HOPEFULLY.

    I still play UT2004 to this date, so a 3 year lifespan is incredible for a game. I really cant wait for this - possibly my favourite game of all time.

    Be sure to download the "Carball" mod - its basically football but with cars. Its available for UT2004 and it will be developed for UT3.

    the collectors edition sounds very cool. it has 10+ hours of unreal editor tutorials, the history of UT, behind the scenes of UT3, an exclusive playable character, and all wrapped in a steelbook case. awesome.
