Reggie Fils-Aime made a recent appearance of Fox News where he discussed everything about the Wii ... it's success, it's games, Super Mario Galazy, and the trouble Nintendo is having trying to meet the holiday demand.

One thing though ... Super Mayrio? Wtf!

I've never watched the new Fox News Channel. But if this interview with Nintendo's Reggie Fils-Aime is any indication, I don't need to watch. The interviewer can hardly say Reggie's title (chief operating officer) and she talks about how it's exceeding "anticipation" (I think she meant expectation). My favourite part, though, is when they post the Super Mario Galaxy metacritic at the bottom of the screen (a 96).

First she gets Super Mario Galaxy's release date wrong, then she cracks out these gems:

"President and Chief Opera .. Operating Offerer .. cer."
    "Exceeding your own anticipation"
"The Nintendo DS has sold 13.2 million units since it launched, the DS, the handheld version, has sold 53.6 million"
"What are your anticipations for the holiday season?"

    Heh.

That certainly made me shake my head and sigh a lot. They really could have put someone a little more... informed than her to talk to Reggie- no offense to the stumbling, mumbling woman. It just felt like she was hopping from line to line on a note card or something. Oh, and nicely put at the end their Twilight Prince. Couldn't have said it better myself. -Thumbs up- Heh...

Wow... the one thing you wouldn't want trying to promote a product: Someone who can't get any of the details right.

I'm sorry, it's just near impossible for me to read any articles based on this guy with his mugshot up front. I can't help myself but to laugh every time I look at his face.
