Free Xbox Live Arcade Treats & 500 Points Awarded To Loyal Members!

ITANI | November 14, 2007 | News | Xbox XBOX 360
Microsoft is celebrating it's 5th anniversary of Live by treating all it's current and new members to a free strategy game that will be available to download for only 48 hours.

The game is called Carcassone and it's set in a medieval era. So you only have 48 hours beginning from tomorrow, so Live users do not forget to take advantage of this opportunity!

Also to Live's most loyal members who created their account when the service was first launched back in 2002, Microsoft is gifting you 500 MS Points. Converting it to pounds that's approximately £4.24 and in dollars it's just about $8-9.

So do not forget to log onto your account tomorrow because it's going to be LIVE!
Microsoft's in a happy mood right now - its hugely successful Xbox Live service is hitting its fifth anniversary, and so MS is celebrating by giving you lot free stuff.

You may want to add that it appears to NOT be happening in Australia. I just logged on and I neither had my 500 points or the ability to download Carcassone, only it's trial which I could do all the time.

Microsoft you suck when you play favorites with countries.

Aww, that is so gay. I have had 3 accounts over 5 years, and I don't get 500 points. Damnit Microsoft, I need those points too!

ISDF, all you need is an American gamertag, I live in Australia, I had made an American gamertag ages ago (to get Aegis Wing), and it was still on my HDD so I just signed into it and downloaded the game for free.

500 Points for 5 years of loyalty? That won't even get you a decent arcade game, I think they would at least give the 5 year members 1600 points to get some half-decent stuff.

Still, it's the principle. Microsoft is just playing fav's with countries and that isn't good at all especially since it's not like it would kill them to have it worldwide.

It would suck if your internet was terrible and it took longer than 48 hours to download lol.
