The Sly Cooper franchise will continue

A member at the gametrailers forum sent a E-mail to Sucker Punch asking him about what will happen to the Sly Cooper franchise. Sucker punch then responded with that they are currently working hard on Infamouse, but they to plan on returning to Sly franchise.

Sucker Punch is pleased to present Infamous! Infamous is a new title we've been furiously working on since completing Sly 3. Infamous is a next generation super hero adventure, delivered exclusively for the PlayStation 3. Players will discover and grow extraordinary powers, fighting villains in an organic and open city as they choose a path between Super Hero and Antihero. The city and its population will evolve and react depending on how the game is played, with every action having a ripple effect on the ultimate fate of the city.



We love the Sly Cooper franchise, however, we are small team that will be focusing on making Infamous a great game. Rest assured, in the future, Sucker Punch will return to the Sly franchise.

      To be honest, I'm much more interested in Infamous...

      BTW: This article writer spelled it "Infamouse" - which erm, implied that some rodent was involved lol ^_~

    I never picked up any of the previous Sly games but this might be the first, Infamous looks good as well

    I am more interestin in infamous, but I imagine this game to have the same if not better graphics then ToD.

    Sly, Ratchet and Jak made up the trio of awesome platformers for the PS2. Sly 2 was one of the best PS2 games I've ever played. Awesome characters and level design. I'll be waiting for his return.
