FFXIII and Versus Will Use Full Specifications of the PS3

In an interview with Tetsuya Nomura, they talked about what Final Fantasy and how it will utilize the PS3. He said thanks to the blu-ray and a hard drive in every PS3, The evolution of Final Fantasy XII to XIII will be as big as the evolution of Final Fantasy VI to VII. He also said that Final Fantasy will be the first game to use the full Specifications of the PS3. Final question was if the game will be exclusive to the PS3 and he responded with "Of course"

Dengeki has interviewed Tetsuya Nomura on the future of Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy XIII and he's revealed some more information on the development of the games.

Nomura says that with the help of the disc space on Blu-Ray and the Hard drive in each PS3, The evolution of Final Fantasy XII to XIII will be as big as the evolution of Final Fantasy VI to VII. He also says that Final Fantasy XIII will probably be the first game to use the full specifications of the Playstation 3. Another interesting thing he mentioned was that the airship present in Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be able to take part in airborne assaults over the world map. Hopefully we'll see that in action soon. Finally, Dengeki also asked him once again whether the games will be Playstation 3 exclusives which he replied to with "Of course".

    How can this title to have been close to doubt about being an exclusive title. Stupi 360 fanboys.

    Does anyone know if anything has been said about the Sixaxis playing a part in the game?

    Im sure for sid-quests and others the sixaxis will be working. Besides i can see this game to move 10 million+ PS3's worldwide. Just from reading this the game is going to be explosive like dynamite. But in a good way of course

        I think what he meant is that it would release in 2017, and then it will be pushed back... or that is what i think he means...

    Even if it does use full specifications that doesnt mean it will look and run the best on the ps3. Other games will continue to come out and dominate.

    you know what would be a good six axis implementation?

    Maby a power attack where you have to balance a ball on a bar for maby 3 secs or so. The closer to the middle the more powerfull your special move would be.
