With the current delays for the PS3 titles such as Haze you might have thought more titles would follows its path. Not Unreal Tournament though. Epic Games vice president Mark Rein has stated that Unreal Tournament will arrive near December 10th as the game has now been finished and now moved into manufacturing.

Could Unreal Tournament III for PlayStation 3 get un-delayed? Epic Games vice president Mark Rein says that the Sony incarnation of the shooter has been finished and sent off to manufacturing, and that publisher Midway is working out a ship date, according to Gamasutra.

In October, Midway delayed Unreal Tournament III, originally scheduled to be on shelves this month alongside the PC version of the game, into the first quarter of 2008.

The company has never retracted that delay, but Rein has said that Epic would attempt to finish the game in time for the holidays. He speculates that Midway will announce a ship date around December 10 early next week.

With the recent delay of PlayStation 3 shooter Haze into next year, getting Unreal back for the holidays would be a big help for Sony.
