Gutted Xbox 360 returned!

Apparently, someone bought a 360, gutted it, then returned it and got all their money back. They left some cables in there, none of them belonging to the 360, and an ethernet cable and headset.

Someone returned a 360 at our store, and supposedly nobody had approved of it. But when we had opened it in our department after we had gave them their money back, this is what we found.....completely gutted...

Oh yeah, and the cables were switched too. There were some vga cables for a computer and and an old parallel printer cable. The only thing that actually belonged in the box was the headset and the ethernet cable..No hard drive or controller....

    i checked out the website that had the story turnes out that there was only one guy working the place and there was some girls that were supposto be checking it out to see if it was ok and now they are trying to find out who oked it and the guy had a recptit. i mean god were the girls that checked it out blonds?

Seriously not true and offensive. There should be no reason to say it or deal with it unless you got proof which all he is doing is bashing.

    LMAO , wow you guys at the store must have been annoyed , hell to gutt the entire console , i dont understand why however , what will they do with the chips and such , arent they specially designed for 360's only. Oh and get a better return policy guys

      It had a REALLY thick medical book inside it. It must have been about as heavy as a 360 normally is.

    whenever i return something, i only get about 40% of what its actually worth. so unless the 360 was stolen, they prolly didnt make very much profit anyways!

      He returned it. Not traded it in. Meaning he got 100% of what he paid for. No different than returning a shirt if it doesn't fit.
