According to Infinity Ward, they said they have put there best Coders to work for the PS3 version of Call of Duty 4.
Whats also interesting is instead of like any other developers who just make one version of the game and port it to another Infinity Ward made sure there were two parties or group, one team for the PS3 and another with the 360. And the outcome of the PS3 version really has shown according to Infinity Ward. It seems they said the PS3 version is alot better compared to the 360.

Zampella says states "We had two separate teams working on both versions from the start, Most developers only focus on a single platform, then quickly port the game over to another one. You don't get very good results that way".

Infinite ward studio head Vince Zampella claimed the PS3 has a bigger online capacity than to 360, PS3 24, 360 18.

"We had our best programmers on the PS3 [version of Call of Duty] and it shows," Infinity Ward studio head Vince Zampella has bellowed. He's been explaining why Sony's edition has a bigger online capacity (24 max players vs 360's 18) and, according to those with cyborg-eyes, improved visuals.

"We had two separate teams working on both versions from the start," Zampella says, "Most developers only focus on a single platform, then quickly port the game over to another one. You don't get very good results that way".

So I guess the few Call of Duty games that I own for PS2 are completely and utterly nonexistant, right? Because I'm fairly sure they do exist. And what does that have to do with anything?

Call of Duty 4 rocks, regardless of what you're playing it on.

Well finally this may be the turning point that the PS3 is looking for, i mean if devs does this from now on expect more great games even multiplayer games from PS3.

I have been saying this a long time, porting games not only is laziness but really hurts a console, in this case the PS3. All the ports seems to be bad on the PS3, i wonder why that is, Oh wait i know Zampella said it best your not going to get good results that way.
