Patch for PS3 version of Assassins's Creed

A patch for the PS3 version of Assassin's Creed is supposedly in the works according to a manager for the Assassin's Creed forums. This patch will fix the stability issues which have plagued the game. No release date was confirmed

Following our recent statement regarding the freeze issues that some consumers are facing with Assassin’s Creed on PlayStation 3, we can confirm that we are actively working on a game update. This update will help improve the stability of the game and will be released as soon as possible. In the meantime thank you for your ongoing feedback and patience.

    Sounds good as it's frozen on me 2 times and I've had the game not even a day now which is annoying.

    I haven't noticed any problems, just fine for me. I guess it will fix the freezing then? Hopefully I won't be "plagued" with it any time soon.

    I hope there is a 360 patch as well. This the most glitch ridden game I have ever played.

    Hopefully this will stop that fanboy in the PS3 forums claiming Assassins Creed is a flop. Actually probably won't since he doesn't even play the game and only links to people who hasn't as well.

    Though I no longer have the game this is good to hear because whilst I was trying to get it complete it unfortunatly froze 5 times =[

    It's an actual problem? I thought my PS3 was acting up, thank goodness that's not the case, heh. Can't wait for this update, although I'm almost done with the game.
