As Final Fantasy fans would know, Square Enix have been pretty stingy when it comes to releasing their new trailers to the general public. The most recent Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII trailers at TGS were only revealed to a closed theatre, so fans have had to settle with listening to descriptions of the trailers written by the few people who were lucky enough to be allowed in the theatre.

Well, it looks like the fan's prayers have finally been answered. With Square Enix launching their new Jump Festa 2008 site, rumours have been rife that these elusive FFXIII trailers will finally be revealed. Let's hope ...

Square-Enix's Jump Festa 2008 site has now officially been launched. The official site detailing what will be attending Jump Festa will open on December 3rd.

Jump Festa runs for 3 days, but free admission to the event starts on 22nd December and ends on 23rd November. Rumor also has it that the trailers of Fabula Nova Crystallis (Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Final Fantasy Agito XIII) which were shown at the Tokyo Game Show in September will be revealed to the public at Jump Festa. Let's hope it's true this time.

I hope these trailers do get released to the public. I have been wanting to see more of the games, but of course, Square Enix is being stingy and keeps everything from up >=(

Well can you blame them for not showing any trailers i mean they were still in the early stages in development. But Im happy though maybe we can get some trailers on the PS3 store i would love to keep some on my PS3 and use remote start to show my friends on my PSP.

When will the new site be up.

'Course we can blame Squeenix for not showing any trailers. We haven't seen any new FFXIII trailers for over a year and a half, then at TGS they say that they will be showing new trailers, but later decide to put said trailers in their closed theatre thus not allowing the public to see them. What's the point in that? The demo is finished so why not show it? Why get the fans hopes up in the first place?

Maybe they weren't up to standards they thought was needed to be shown for the public view. I understand not seeing a trailer is gunna get people upset but i think there's more to it than what we know. I feel it wasn't up to standards or something. Thats all im saying.

I can sort of understand what your trying to say, but if Square didn't think that new trailers were up to scratch then why would they show it in a theatre full of representatives from leading Video Games magazines and websites ?? Surely their criticisms would have put many people off the game rather than if they had of seen it for themselves.

The last and only trailer went on show at the last Jump Festa so I'm hoping they'll show some new stuff this time around as well !

Maybe the reason for that was they had no choice but to show them since they are the one reviewing the game and such, besides i bet it wasn't even gameplay just another trailer we already seen something like it already.

They were two brand new trailers with brand new footage. Squeenix chose to create brand new trailers and they chose to show those trailers to the closed theatre. Nobody was forcing Square to show trailers at the Tokyo Game Show. They have the choice to show whatever they want at the show.

I still think there's something we don't know and were getting all crazy about it to be honest. I mean we can't or SE can't please everyone.
