Gaming Target continues their attempt to catalog all of the exclusive titles from each of the three next-generation consoles. This latest update comes in after all three consoles have been on the market at least a year and the Wii continues to lead with 135 titles. The Xbox 360 remains in second with 100 titles and the PS3 continues to bring up the rear with 52.

I expected more than 52, especially going up against 100 on 360 and 135 on Wii...

"...the PS3 continues to bring up the rear" Great line.

The PS3 has been out a year less than the 360 - over, in the likes of Europe. The Wii has more exclusive titles because the HardWare is so innovative and different. You wouldn't find Cooking Mama, for example, on the PS3 or 360. In the end the comparison isn't really fair as it doesn't point these things out.

While what you said is true and would be nice to see in the article, it still doesn't change the present numbers.

If they made a list for quality exclusives, the Wii would have around 5-10.

Right - I just want to say this. If a game is coming out on the 360 and PC then it is NOT a 360 exclusive, it is a Microsoft exclusive. Stating a game as exclusive implies that it is only available on one platform ...
... and not of this shit about the PC not being a gaming console - New's flash, it is

Not including the games already out, then (( in my opinion anyways )) the PS3 has a much better line-up for 2008, much better then the line up for 2007 - Thus why I've waited until Christmas to get my PS3 ^^

Sounds about right. So the PS3 has a little more than half the number of exclusive of a console that's been out twice as long.

Is this supposed to point out some kind of significance for Wii games or something? Because as said above, the only good exclusives for the Wii come out of Nintendo and there are definitely not 120+ nintendo games.

Stop lieing to yourselves. The Wii's collect more dust than the PS3's do.

Actually The PS3's has not been collecting dust as you say in November and October
All thanks to the games that came out.

I also thought the PS3 would have more than 52, I think Sony will catch-up though in the end.

I'm predicting the competition will be between the Wii and PS3!!!

I predict two things: one is that Sony will be too close-minded to realize they need to focus on games more than media and the PS3 will lose support. Or Sony is hiding something, and there'll be a surge in 2008-2009.

Well Sony definitely have something up there sleeves seeing as how they have 15 in-house studio's all developing games exclusive to the PS3 ^^

The only thing that I'm a little envious of is the all the RPG's that are coming for Wistwalker studios for the 360, but other than that, role on the new year ^^
