The PS3 version of the Orange Box, the compilation of Half Life 2 and episode one and two of its episodic content, as well as Portal and Team Fortress 2 will be released on the 11th of December. Just over one week from now. Will the frame rate truly be as bad as the reviewers say? Or will this box set usher in a new era of console gaming? Only time will tell
Finally, PlayStation 3 gamers will be able to join the PC and 360 ranks and experience the joy and wonder that is The Orange Box.
The Orange Box for PS3 comes out on December 11th, and we feel confident in predicitng that its release will end the bickering over which console is superior once and for all. Portal is just good enough to herald a new age of cross-console generosity and brotherhood. Hallelujah!

That's just asking for a fanboy war. This game has no bearing on which console is superior, especially since the PS3 game was entrusted to a whole different team.
UT3 is fun, been playing it since release but I still find myself in TF2 just for the absurd behaviors of the figures and great times shoving people in the box as they try to capture in gravelpit.
Team Fortress 2 delivers solid online gameplay with quite a replay value for those interested.
Half-Life 2 speaks for itself, the storyline in 2 travels quite a bit and leads up well to the conclusion of the story which probably will be another year off at least. For those who are interested in story driven gaming with some limited ideas of roaming, HL2 does it quite well especially as it reaches Episode 2.
I would hesitate though on this edition of the game. The 360 and PC versions have been fine but for the PS3 I'd say your best bet is to find out how well EA ported this thing before you bite into something that might just be flat out awful as a port.
Now seeing as there was a preview that really sounded like Orange Box was metaphorical shit, but then again you got IGN saying that the issues weren't so bad...so you gotta figure that the other preview was bitching too much...THEN AGAIN! This is EA...and IGN is a bit of a softy when it comes to previews/reviews.
