While the PS3 is already well established for its processing power, it may come as a surprise to learn that hackers can use the Cell chip to break file passwords in order to stretch their nefarious reach.

Beyond lending its considerable processing strength to the likes of the honourable Folding(at)Home project, it turns out that nefarious individuals within the hacking community are able to adapt the PS3 in order to crack passwords with relative ease.

        Probably not that specifically, but it is definitely forseeable that a PS3 user could use the power of it to indulge in illegal activity.
