The writers strike continues to affect our media enjoyment following news that Rogue Pictures has decided to drop its movie adaptation of Konami's Castlevania videogame series.

Not content with spoiling our enjoyment of narrative television by ransacking normal scheduling, the wonderful writers strike is steadily spreading its into Hollywoods movie lot, with the big-screen adaptation of Castlevania emerging as the latest victim to succumb to its damaging effects.
