We already know that Nintendo is currently leading in the current console war. This week's Famitsu magazine seems to confirm this. When asked about what systems and games retailers expect to have the toughest time keeping in stock due to the high demands of the public this holiday season, Nintendo products such as Wii Fit and the Nintendo DS Lite topped the list.

A new retailer poll from across the Pacific has Nintendo hardware and software scoring big for the year end holiday sales rush. Famitsu got the opinions of 93 shops regarding what game product will be big for the end of the year.

Topping the list of product that retailers expect to be in short supply towards the end of the year was Wii Fit. Nintendo's heavily-marketed fitness product, which hit shops on 12/1, got 37 votes, beating out Dragon Quest IV's 26 votes.

When all else fails, seek out your people for support. Nostalgia is a big thing in Japan appearantly, and I can't blame them. I'd buy a DS for it's Mario, Zelda, and Metroid games. =D

These products are already low on stock as it is espically the Wii products, so in theory this question is pointless. For this point it is going to have low stock no matter what =/
