Amazon is giving out amazing video game bundles for the next 10 days. If you buy a Playstation 3 40GB, you will also receive a Blu-ray remote control and Stranglehold Collector's Edition, free of charge! Not to mention you are still eligible for 5 free Blu-ray movies by purchasing the console. So if you don't have a PS3 and are looking for a sweet deal, here it is. Don't sleep on it.

Amazon.com will be running video game specials for the next 10 days. Starting today (12/8/07), the promotions kick off with a great deal on the Playstation 3 40 GB Bundle. If you buy a 40GB Playstation 3 console, Amazon.com will give you a PS3 Blu-ray Remote Control (MSRP $19.99) and Stranglehold Collector's Edition (MSRP $69.99) for free. That's a nicely packed entry system, especially with those interested in Blu-ray films.

The 40GB bundle includes Spider-Man 3 Blu-ray film and the Stranglehold Collector's Edition, which includes the Hard Boiled film on the game's blu-ray disc. Stranglehold is a pretty solid game too. One of the better PS3 games out there. Purchasing the console also qualifies you for the 5 free blu-ray movies deal (see form here). Seven blu-ray flicks, a PS3 game, a remote and PS3 for $399.99 is a great deal!

Stranglehold isn't something that stands out, imo, but it is a great deal, nonetheless. I would prefer Warhawk, with bluetooth headest.

Wow nice deal. I think this would be a great deal for people who are looking for a PS3 this holiday, now if they could get another deal with a better game like R&C or CoD4 then hell yeah!!

I would rather spend an extra $100 on an 80GB PS3, gotta have backwards compatibility.

Seems like a nice deal, and hopefully deals like these will help improve the PS3 sales a tad bit for the Christmas holiday. Hopefully I'll see such deals like these for other consoles, though I am not thinking of getting a PS3 anytime soon..

I'd really like a PS3, but if it hasn't got backwards compatibility, then what will I do if my PS2 breaks?
