Amazon isn't giving out sweet deals for just the 40GB PS3. Turns out they're gonna do the same thing for the Xbox 360. For a limited time, if you buy an Xbox 360 HD DVD add-on, which Amazon is selling at $129 (from $179), you are eligible for recieving 10, that's right, 10 free HD DVDs. Two of the titles you are predetermined to receive with your purchase will be 300 and The Bourne Identity.

Amazon.com is offering up a pretty sweet deal attached to Toshiba's two high-end 1080p HD DVD players. The deal comes hot on the heels of a one-day price slash on the Xbox 360 HD DVD add-on drive which saw that price temporarily plummet from $179 to $129.

For an unknown limited time, anyone who purchases the Toshiba HD-A30 or HD-A35 HD DVD player from Amazon.com will receive 10 free HD DVDs. Not only that, each player has seen their prices substantially cut in conjunction with this deal. The HD-A30 is currently priced at $249.98, while the HD-A35 is $359.98. Both prices are roughly 30 percent lower than their normal everyday price.

I'm pretty sure this is a Microsoft offer. It's available in both America and Europe. You send the rebate to Microsoft.

It doesn't matter what HD DVD player you buy, you still get 10 free HD DVD's.

Microsoft were recently doing 5 free HD DVD's, I don't know if they've stopped though.
