    It's highly unlikely that Guerilla are the only ones doing this, and due to differences in quality between a screenshot and it's appearance in-game, touching up may be required to get the game to look at the quality of that in-game.

  If you've seen the screenshots, you don't have much an excuse not to have seen the in-game footage. If you can't draw comparisons off the bat, turn right round and get back to research. Even a dulled out youtube video conversion (56k friendly) provides enough for any to judge quality. So much that IO Interactive had Kane & Lynch: Dead Men advertised on youtube's front page for over a week.

  I heard they touched up the pictures before E3 and that they wanted to touch it up to the current graphics at this time. If thats true than i don't have a problem and i understand why they did it. Although people are complaining that they should have released New pictures instead of touching up older pictures. On the article i read anyway.

  Why won't people just leave Killzone 2 alone? It seems people are looking for anything to complain about ever since the games awesome graphics were shown two years ago

    Those weren't the games graphics and everyone knew it. But Sony insisted for weeks that they were.
    
    This is a perfect example of a game getting hype for graphics alone. The original Killzone was mediocre at best. Even had it reached the impossibly high standards it set for itself it still needs to improve on other things.

      A flat 70 out of 100 isn't exactly mediocre. Sure, it isn't the best, but it's far from bad.
