mistermostyn | December 12, 2007 | News | XBOX 360
The wait is finally over and Bungie has delivered the Heroic Map Pack multiplayer expansion to the Xbox Live Marketplace. 800 Points bags you more fragging action... are you still here?
Packaged as the ‘Halo 3 Heroic Map Pack,’ the three new environments are all-but guaranteed to add yet more appeal and interest to the massively popular world of Halo 3 multiplayer, which has already drawn the attention of five million online players since the ‘finish the fight’ sequel launched at the end of September.

I hate the whole "you have to buy more maps for a game you already have payed for" thing. It just sounds stupid, they don't do it with any computer games, yet when it comes to the 360 you must pay if you want some more maps?

Its business, thats why you wait until they become free. As they will eventually.

Some of those maps look like remakes of Halo CE and Halo 2 maps.

Yes, I do hate that as well.

Kind of actually turns me away from 360 games is that you have to pay for live and, now I have to pay for more parts of a game.

Like LOD-squa said, they eventually become free. Hell, the Virtual Console is all about money made, and PSN is getting 'parts' for games sold.
