It's quite apparent that Halo 3 is still making an impression on the public, especially with now over five million copies of the game sold. Can they keep this up, or is just going to drop low after the holiday season?

Microsoft big cheese and Corporate Vice President of Global Marketing for the Xbox 360 Jeff Bell has revealed that Halo 3 has reached a quite a staggering 5 million sales. We all felt the hype, and saw the frenzied enthusiasm for the games release, but 5 million sales is still quite astonishing.

Speaking to Gamedaily, Jeff Bell enthused that "We've... seen a strong response to both Halo 3 sales with more than 5 million, and Mass Effect which has sold more than a million copies in less than three weeks".
