Square Enix has now announced that Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core will be coming to the United States on March 25th. The game is a prequel to Final Fantasy 7, and has recently become Square Enix's best selling game of this year.

It is not known yet when the special edition Crisis Core PSP bundle will hit the US though.

Square Enix's epic Final Fantasy VII prequel is coming to the US at last! Square Enix confirmed today that the PSP exclusive will arrive on March 25th. The game follows the adventures of Zack and his life as part of SOLDIER. Along the way, he'll meet familiar faces, like Cloud, Sephiroth and more. Crisis Core has been rated T by the ESRB for Blood, Mild Language, Mild Suggestive Themes and Violence.

    I pretty much knew it was going to be released on March, since game stores around the net had a set date of March. Im not surprised. But i think this is like a last resort date. It may get released sooner. There's no point of waiting this long just to play an English version. by all rights it should have been released already.

    March, eh? That's quicker than I thought. I'll be playing the Japanese version within a few weeks, though. :S

    I guess it is time for me to get a PSP. I wonder what the special edition Crysis Core Bundle will look like. Or will it just be a regular PSP with the game? I hope it has some cool FF7 artwork on it.

      That's what it looks like. They released 77,777 of them in Japan and sold out nearly instantly. They announced they want to release it in the US, but haven't yet.
