The newest SSBB stage is the Frigate Orpheon. It hails from the Metroid Prime series.

It looks extremely interesting. Sakurai says that for a ship that causes so much trouble, it "sure does have a lot of problems". One example is that the lights go out.

Another that will make this stage interesting is the fact that it can flip. That's right....flip. Two stages in one!

This appears in Metroid Prime. It’s the first spaceship Samus infiltrates.

What you see in the background is the Parasite Queen.

Th-the power went out?!

For a spaceship that just causes trouble, it sure does have a lot of problems.

But what really defines this stage is the way it rotates 180 degrees.

The siren scream is a warning!

Suddenly, it flips...

The terrain inverts!

When the siren goes off, jump into the air to flee.

But when you’re in a pinch, so is your opponent. Stall your opponent to take advantage!

Meh. Imo, Samus always has the worst end of the stages.

Yeah, This is a pretty average looking stage. I reckon I'll find the "flipping" annoying too, rather than exciting or fun.

Are they going to reveal every stage in this game month by month til it comes out?

Why does Samus always get two stages, and why are both of them always lackluster?

    Makes no sense to me.

Meh, it's an okay stage. A "fun" stage I guess. I'm a fan of the more simple ones.
