Patcher: Mass Effect May Come To The Ps3

Many rumors were spread about the exclusiveness of Mass Effect. In a video interview with Michael Pachter he said Mass Effect could come to the PS3. Will this be a port, or just Mass Effect 2 on 360 and PS3?

Michael Pachter, Wedbush Morgan Securities Analyst, has taken his stance on the entire situation by stating he believes that Mass Effect will not remain an Xbox 360 exclusive.

Speaking with a panel of others on Gametrailers, Pachter commented, "Trust me, Electronic Arts, when they threw out the 300 million that is multiplatform that is not 360 only.” And when asked if it will come to the PS3, he finished with, "It has to, I wouldn't be shocked if Mass Effect 1 came to PlayStation 3."

Currently Bioware still labels Mass Effect as an Xbox 360 exclusive. The first game in what is planned as a trilogy is already released with great reviews. Perhaps when it is time to reveal more on Mass Effect 2, will Bioware be able to talk more freely in relation to ME on the PS3.

    Would be kind of odd to put a sequel on a console that didn't have the first game, seeing as many gamers would be lost. Though I guess it wouldn't be out of the ordinary either: Condemned 2, Saint's Row 2, Dead Rising 2, DMC4

    Why port it to the PS3, its not like its going to be good, well at least not the past ports. Though this is just a rumor so its not like it will happen.

    Uhh, they signed an exclusivity contract, Microsoft owns the rights to the Mass Effect trilogy.

    Yeah but doesn't EA own the bioware now? And I think they just published the game, so They probably only have some rights to the first mass effect.

    What they could do is make a game close to M.E not exactly like it so the PS3 could have a version like it. Doubt that will happen and its probably a bad idea anyway so...meh

    Since Microsoft owns the rights to Mass Effect, it won't be released on the PS3. It may be released on the PC eventually, but not PS3.

    NAh Mass ffect is an exclusive trilogy.

    It would be great if it went multi that way bioware could get allitle extra cash to blwo on the other games. Sadly no..

    This is funny because if this game to the PS3, people wouldn't consider it a "great" game anymore.

    Seems like whenever xbox gets an exclusive, it's a must have. *rolls eyes*


    If this came to PS3 I wouldn't even get to, so it doesn't matter to me, I'd rather it go wii, so the 360 noobs cry.
